TEN (10) DRUGS YOU SHOULD NOT USE WITH TETRACYCLINE


These are list of ten drugs you should not take with tetracycline:

  1. Amoxicillin: Tetracycline reduces the effect of amoxicillin.
  2. Ampicillin
  3. Magnessium hydroxide: It inhibits the absorption of tetracycline
  4. Iron sucrose
  5. Cholera vaccine: Wait for 14 days after the use of antibiotics before taking cholera vaccine. Taking cholera vaccine with antibiotics reduces the effectiveness of the vaccine.
  6. Aluminium hydroxide
  7. Lomitapide
  8. Tretinoin
  9. Bismuth subsalicylate: It inhibits the absorption of tetracycline.
  10. BCG vaccine.
